Multi-Factor Authentication

FAQs

Below are the common questions around Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

  • What is Multi-Factor Authentication?
    • Multifactor authentication combines your username and password with an additional security factor – such as a numeric code sent to your smartphone – to confirm your identity and keep your information secure.
    • When you use multifactor authentication, a stolen password isn’t enough for an unauthorized person to gain access to your sensitive data or our critical technology systems. With MFA in place, your data is more secure.
